Where are practices?
- We practice at Vincent Clune Park, off of Chesapeake Drive in Forked River.
- Additionally, we practice indoors at a variety of locations throughout the fall as determined by the Coordinator.
How often do teams practice?
- Divisions typically practice 3 times a week before school starts and 1-2 times a week after school starts.
When are tackle games played that we are required to cheer at?
- Tackle games are played typically Saturday and Sunday, home and away within NJ.
Do you have try outs?
- There are no try outs and all children are welcome regardless of experience.
What is Parent Participation Deposit?
- The parent participation deposit is collected to ensure participation by parents in our league and acts as an equipment bond.
- New for 2024, the parent participation deposit will be collected upon equipment/uniform issue.
- You can declare not to volunteer but you will be subject to an additional equipment bond.
- Volunteers completing 4 volunteer hours and turn in league equipment will have there deposit returned.
- Assignments include but not limited to: Concessions, coaching, team parent, play monitor, field chains, down marker.
Why is there a mandatory fundraiser?
- The actual cost per player is always higher than registration, PPD, and Mandatory Fundraiser costs combined.
- The difference in these cost is typically made up from concession sales and sponsorships.
- Rather than have the registration fee be the actual cost of the program, we have one mandatory fundraiser each year.
- Upon equipment/uniform issue $60 per player must be paid and you will receive the fundraising product(s).
